Velsi Sir nurtured his competitive spirit at the university level, shaping him into a skilled and determined athlete.
The Amara village community and the National Arts and Sports Club were his first cheerleaders, offering support that helped him win the Best Athlete Award from the Government of Kerala in 1991 — a recognition that set the stage for his lifelong mission: coaching champions.
